Having Some Elefun Time...

We have this new game that we just got the other day for the kids to play together. Most of the games we have are more for Mckayla's age and Connor just hasn't quite got it just yet. But soon he will. So, we got this EeleFungame at Targetand both of them seem to really enjoy it. It is a little more down Connor's lane and he really enjoys it but whats a fun game when just playing it yourself? :)


Connor was getting so excited about it that he just was plain worn out for a minute! Too cute!

Dr. Seuss Matching Game

Lately Connor has been watching the TV show Cat and the Hat and I stumbled across this matching game on Oopsey Daisy and I couldn't help but try it would with Connor. He loves matching things together as much as he can and I thought that this would make it a little bit fore fun. And I was right! He loved it.

Download the game here. After downloading, just cut up the cards and you can also mount them on card stock if you choose. And wola! It's a game! It's pretty simple matching for little ones probably ages 1-3 (at the oldest) Connor breezed through them. But it's also fun to make up other games with them as well. Like, "find me the GREEN grinch", "count the fish", "how many RED hats can you find", etc

Someone asked me the other day how old Connor was. I replied, "he's 1 1/2" With Quinn following, "no he's not, he's almost two months for being TWO!" What? Where is the time going? I know your not talking about my little boy! So, yes..sad to say that my "little" boy that I was thinking that will never grow up will be 2 in less than two months. He'll always be my little boy!

We are deff. approaching the "T-Twos" Which isn't as bad as I thought they would be with having a big sister in the house. He's starting to stand up for himself, "fight" back and letting his sister that he's not going to take it. Well...that's our definition of it. hahaa..So we will have to see.

As you can see Connor has really taking a liking in Thomas the Tank Engine, Bob the Builder and Jay Jay the Jet Plane. All so fitting don't you think for our family. He is starting to go crazy when he sees or hears one of their theme songs.

Two Adorable Kids Right Here...

Look at our handsome little man! I took this morning before Sunday School. And couldn't help but think how big out kids are getting! This next picture both our kids playing so well together for almost the first time. It was adorable, like a little old married couple cooking in the kitchen. =) This picture truly does make me smile.





Both kids are doing well. Connor has four teeth so far and looks like another is trying to pop through soon, so we shall see. But he has doing very well for teething thus far anyways. (knock on wood) :)

Quinn and I just celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversary yesterday. He was gone all day till about 4:30ish at a conference but came home with some amazing looking red roses! I have a wonderful husband! Then we dropped the kids off at our friends house for a few hours so we could have a dinner alone. What a treat! It so nice to be alone and have a nice and quite dinner. But it still amazes me that we still talked about our kids. lol...

Little Bitty Baby Boy

So I just had to post this one just because....The only thing I did was paint the shelf and hang it up. But it's the little bitty shirt, the botties and hat that I can't get enough of. They used to be so big on Connor! They were given to him when he was in the hospital from them. And the book and bunny were given to Connor from some amazing friends of ours. When he was just a few months old.

Two Weeks Old Today!

Two weeks old today! Time is going by so fast already and Connor is getting so big. It amazes me that just two weeks and he looks so different already since he was born. It's been easy to say the least getting back into the "baby" life style again. Connor only gets up once at night - between 4 and 4:30 a.m. which has been a huge blessing in its self. =D Mckayla at the age of 3 weeks was sleeping through the night. ...so we are still hoping. But I am actually enjoying getting up with him this time. I guess you can say there would be a special bond with Mommies and their Babies. =)


Durning the day Connor still sleeps a lot. Which again has been a blessing since Mckayla has been home with me. It's been nice too spending some along time with her as well. She will be going back to daycare next week, which will be nice again to back on a schedule with her so we can get on a schedule with Connor.


Sunday will be our first time at church. We thought we would give it a few weeks to really take him out again really and around a bunch of people. So if you go to Mt. Pleasant, we will be there this Sunday...the FOUR of us. lol...it's still a little weird saying four of us in the family or the "kids" But according to Billy Cosby, we are now real parents. lol..hahaa
